A visible safety system around the whole machine.

AuraSafe

A visible safety system around the whole machine.

A distributed, intelligent warning-light system created for long specialist vehicles where one roof lightbar cannot tell the complete story.

Why AuraSafe exists

Safety visibility should not stop at the cab roof.

On an 11-metre specialist vehicle, a conventional roof lightbar may be hidden from people working beside or behind the machine. AuraSafe addresses that limitation by distributing synchronised warning lights around the vehicle and its working equipment.

The system is built around vehicle behaviour rather than a simple on-or-off switch. Multiple control nodes coordinate the lighting so that the visible warning state remains clear around the machine.

One coordinated system, visible from multiple positions.

Distributed vehicle awareness

One coordinated system, visible from multiple positions.

AuraSafe can divide the vehicle into front, nearside, offside and boom lighting groups. This allows warning behaviour to follow the part of the machine that matters, while synchronised patterns create a clear and intentional visual message.

The architecture is designed for development. Lighting behaviour can respond to work modes, vehicle inputs and safety functions rather than operating as unrelated individual lamps.

AuraSafe capabilities

Intelligent lighting shaped around a specialist vehicle.

01

Whole-vehicle visibility

Multiple warning points make the active safety state visible beyond the cab and roof lightbar.

02

Synchronised behaviour

Distributed controllers coordinate lighting patterns instead of allowing separate lamps to behave independently.

03

Grouped lighting zones

Front, nearside, offside and boom groups allow behaviour to match the machine layout.

04

Vehicle integration

The system can respond to relevant vehicle inputs and operational modes through defined control logic.

Designed by Fir Tree

From a visibility problem to a working distributed system.

01

Identify

We map where a conventional warning system is hidden or fails to communicate the risk.

02

Map

Lighting points and functional groups are designed around the machine geometry.

03

Integrate

Controllers, vehicle inputs and light outputs are configured as one coordinated system.

04

Refine

Behaviour is tested on the real vehicle and adjusted to make the warning state clear.
