DAF XF & XG Inverter Installation Kit

A complete vehicle-specific wiring and connection kit designed for a clean, secure and professional inverter installation. This kit provides the high-current cabling, circuit protection and connection hardware required to run power safely from the vehicle’s fuse board to the inverter.

Key specifications

• Main power cable: 35mm² red cable in protective conduit
• Earth cable: 35mm² black cable in protective conduit
• Internal power cable: 25mm²
• External circuit protection: 100A MIDI fuse
• Internal circuit protection: 80A MEGA fuse
• Fuse-board connection
• Internal MEGA fuse-holder connection
• Cable entry: 2 × 25mm stuffing glands

Kit includes

• 35mm² red power cable in protective conduit, running from the under-cab fuse board to the internal fuse position, fitted with an M6 connection for the fuse board and an M8 connection for the internal MEGA fuse holder
• 35mm² black earth cable from the earth stud beneath the cab to the inverter connection block
• 25mm² power cable from the internal fuse to the inverter connection block
• 100A MIDI fuse for the external fuse board beneath the cab
• 80A MEGA fuse for the internal fuse holder
• 2 × MEGA fuse holders one for circuit protection and one for use as the inverter connection block
• 2 × 25mm stuffing glands for secure cable entry
