DAF XF & XG Inverter Installation Kit
A vehicle-specific cable and protection kit for fitting an inverter to a DAF XF (2023 onward) . It brings together the main power feed, earth return, internal power cable and connection hardware for a tidy installation.
Choose your option
- No Inverter: installation kit only.
- Dometic 2000W Inverter: installation kit with the listed Dometic inverter.
- Sterling 1800W Inverter: installation kit with the listed Sterling inverter.
Kit contents
- 35 mm² red power cable in protective conduit
- 35 mm² black earth cable in protective conduit
- 25 mm² internal power cable
- 100 A MIDI fuse and 80 A MEGA fuse
- Two MEGA-style holders for the internal protection and connection arrangement
- Two 25 mm stuffing glands for cable entry
Installation overview
The main feed and earth return run from the under-cab connections into the driver's side footwell. The internal power cable and inverter connections are then routed behind the passenger seat. A fitting guide with photographs is available from Fir Tree Technology.
Check suitability before ordering
Installation must be carried out by a competent vehicle electrical installer. Confirm the vehicle specification and the chosen inverter's DC input, surge current and manufacturer-required cable and fuse ratings before fitting. The supplied 100 A and 80 A fuses do not by themselves establish suitability for every inverter or load. Contact us with the vehicle year and inverter make, model and power rating if you need help checking compatibility.
